Science Fair News
I know I am a little slow on this one folks: We had a Science Fair! Quite a few of our students entered and it was great to see the variety and quality of their projects. Connor and Trevor made it to the county level. Congrats!
Our current science unit is weather. We have done several science investigations. One of them was to test the effect of the angle of the sun on a thermometer. We compared two different angles. It was interesting. After this we tested the difference between the way water and land heat up. Do you know which one hits up more quickly?
I know you have hears the old excuse "The dog ate my homework." If you were in Mrs. J's class you may even have heard "The goat ate my homework." Now, we have a new one...Amber says "The MOUSE ate my homework!"
I live in a small town in Northern California with my husband Bruce and our dog Peaches. We are both originally from Southern California and we absolutely love living here. It is a friendly place in the midst of great natural beauty. We have a large garden where we both spend a lot of time. I do the flowers and my husband grows the veggies.
We enjoy hiking and sailing locally. We also love to sail at Huntington Lake in the Sierras. We backpack there when we can.
